There are some troubling signs because there is some damage to the flashing in front of the garage, and we are trying to contact Interlock, but we don't seem to get any response from them. That is pretty troubling at this point. Communication would be number one, and also timing and schedule. Overall, it was not a bad experience, but there are still some things that they need to fix. I hope that somebody from the company is going to contact us and schedule that little fix. It's not a big deal, but it has to be done.”

Roofing in Victoria: what to plan for
Waterfront homes and salt air
Much of Greater Victoria sits within sight of the ocean. Aluminum does not rust, so salt spray on an Oak Bay, Esquimalt or Sooke waterfront doesn't do to it what it does to steel.
Storms straight off the Strait
Exposed shorelines take the winter storms first. Interlock panels lock to each other on all four sides with the fasteners concealed. Wind resistance is warranted to 193 km/h (120 mph) installed to manufacturer specification.
